Drafting

In architecture and design, we refer to the creation of construction documents as drafting. While today, the primary method for drafting is computer software such as AutoCAD and Revit, the origins of drafting are all by hand. As you start out in this field, its important to understand the foundations of why we do what we do on the computer and where the art of drafting began so we can be more aware of the process in the digital environment.
